Looks tacky & the specs disappointing, it will get eaten alive by HTC if it comes near the western market.
God bless capitalism! :D
I don't think so. With a 3.5" 360*640 capacative touchscreen, it's got a screen about as big as an iPhone's but with a higher resolution, so I guess that's the market they'd be shooting for if they were to release that exact product over here. HTC aren't that big a player to non-geek circles, are they? I could see Dell, with their big brand name, doing a lot of damage to them with an westernised version of this.
HTC as a brand, you are probably right, although they are getting bigger with every hardware refresh. However they do make the majority of Windows Mobile devices, and I would expect there to be a big push once WinMob 6.5 is available, after all, it does have an app store too.
All the O2, Orange, Vodafone, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, etc. Windows Mobile devices are made by HTC unless otherwise stated (HTC don't put brnading on carrier devices, other manufacturers do).
