Very strange.. with an increasing amount of content becoming available through download you'd expect them to concentrate on consoles with hard drives, instead it looks like they're turning the hard drive-less system into the normal one and making the ones with hard drives a luxury/top-end market.
I can only think they'll drop the price again prior to Christmas to stimulate sales once they've got over any FM3 bounce, especially in light of PS3 price cuts.
I can't in any way imagine how this will help improve sales.
The 60gb Pro is being phased out and the Elite is apparently going to see a hefty price cut to bring it down to a similar price. Maybe they're gonna bundle a 20gig HDD with the Arcade and that's why they're planning on raising the price...Quote:
