Re: News - The most anticipated videogames: August-December 2009 - Which games are on

I will probably get the likes of Batman, Assassins Creed 2, CoD MW2, Brutal Legend, Ghostbusters and then I will grab a few others later down the line when they are cheaper like Wolfenstein and Final Fantasy possibly the new Splinter Cell with dead rising and dirt 2 once the hype has dropped, along with it the price.

Can't believe Brutal Legend is missing off that list. Can't wait for Rocktober to come around The sound track on this game alone should put a smile on metal fans faces.

Re: News - The most anticipated videogames: August-December 2009 - Which games are on

    Here's the entire list...

    Batman Arkam Asylum
    Dissidia: Final Fantasy
    Rock Band: The Beatles
    Forza Motorsport 3
    Colin McRae: Dirt 2
    WET
    Halo 3: ODST
    Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
    FIFA 10
    Dead Space Extraction
    Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising
    Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days
    Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
    Tekken 6
    Dragon Age: Origins
    Modern Warfare 2
    Assassin’s Creed II
    Dead Rising 2

Out of all out them, I'm just interested in Batman: Arkam Asylum and Assassin’s Creed II.

Tekken 6 will be same ole, same ole. Might check out DiRT 2 if I'm bored. Dead Space: Extraction might have been good, but it's Wii only.

Not really interested in the Halo series at all.

Modern Warfare 2 doesn't grab me at all either.

I'm interested in COD6 (or whatever they like to call it now), Operation Flashpoint, Forza 3 and possibly Batman since the demo was fun.

    Diablo 3 anyone?
Ah, no... you said release this year.
I can see the new Duke Nukem coming out before D3, and that's been cancelled...

Re: News - The most anticipated videogames: August-December 2009 - Which games are on

Was a little underwhelmed by the list of games due out. The only one that is pre-ordered is Halo 3:ODST. Forza 3 may be bought, but that is very much dependent on the release of GT5. Oh so GT for PSP is not good enough for Hexus now?

Oh and anyone spot the mistake?

    Master Cheif's return
Steven needs a spell checker, and Master Chief isn't in ODST, its all about the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers

I think I'll just moan about the death of native PC AAA games for a while, then pick up DA:O anyway and look forward to the start of 2010 which seems to have a lot more games.

Is the release date for Forza 3 correct in this article? I have the release date as being 27th October, and most pre-order places seem to agree....

Re: News - The most anticipated videogames: August-December 2009 - Which games are on

In order of what I'm most looking forward to:

DJ Hero - could quite easily be the best game released this year
Colin McRae: Dirt 2 - the first one was excellent in my opinion so not a lot to improve upon other then the online multiplayer
Halo 3: ODST - goes without saying will be awesome
Tekken 6 - loved the others in the series, can only hope this one ups the pace of the fights, combat seemed to slow down with the newer entries
Modern Warfare 2 - again like ODST, goes without saying it will be awesome!
