How come they lose money? Didnt they do their maths that to build a PS3 will cost £10, so if we want £5 profit in our pocket, we should sell it for £15?
They did different maths - lose $5 per console but make $10 per sold game instead. If each console has an attach rate of say 10 games then they're still making $95 per console sale, so it's worth the cut in price if you make any additional sales as a result.Quote:
