Just public trackers I take it?
To be honest, I think everyone at some point has watched their favourite TV program online. Nor am I surprised at the 54m. Expect this number to grow.

CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."

for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
As always, BBC iplayer and the like are getting there, but it's still not on the money. Rubbish video quality, no option to download (DRM doesn't count), and a painfully unpredictable system with regard to what I can watch, and when I can watch it before it expires.
The only thing I see as being equivalent to scene TV shows are DVDs, in that you can watch them for as long as you want, as many times as you want, with no restrictions. But they cost a fortune, you have to mess around with a lot of disks, and they take forever to actually come out. There just isn't any competition out there currently for a lot of it either - suppose you want the entire back catalogue of Have I Got News For You, how exactly are you meant to achieve that "legally"? And what about people who don't live in England currently but want to keep up with the soaps?
Music is slowly catching up, but how long will it take for television?
With Pirate bay looking to going 'legitimate' as it were mabee those figures will only go up and up.
Grief, don't even get me started on that bunch. It's still far from ideal though - comparing 1 disk at a time for £4 per month, with delays owing to postage and unlimited downloads for free with no delays is hardly a fair comparison.
If we were talking about an unlimited TV download service with a monthly fee then perhaps I'd be inclined to see it as a direct competitor, dependent on DRM restrictions.
Analog loophole ftw !

Gimme the opportunity to pay a quid or whatever to download a new episode of Big Bang Theory/Bones/NCIS for keepsies as they air in the US* and you've got my money guaranteed!

I am glad my shows aren't in the list :
Stargate Atlantis
Sarah Connor
X Files
Sanctuary
Chuck
each show is my daily 1 hr. viewing every day of the week. And, I dont watch TV at all!
