Nothing new really, TKIP has been vulnerable for some time now.
I'm still using wired and am a noob to wireless/networking, how secure are these things?

The worlds MOST secure equipment (read millions of £s) CAN and HAS been hacked on several occasions due to the retards that use "Wireless technology". Ask Walmart.
Wireless is NOT as secure (never will be) as a secured wired connection. period.
Just like internet is never secure. For example the best way to have a secure internet connection is not to have one at all. :geek:
You have a point - with wireless you're broadcasting your data to whoever is in range, with wired someone has to physically plug something in. However, AES encryption is extremely strong and plenty strong enough for home/business users. Even if WPA on the router was somehow bypassed, most data which is considered sensitive is protected at the application layer by TLS which is also incredibly strong. It would be far easier to try and steal someone's credit card!Quote:

Thats because i turned the wireless off and only using the wires that are already around the house. Im yet still to discover the point of wireless. Yes its not messy etc, but is it really? i mean if i use wireless on my desctop (i got one of those PCI thingys) and im next room to the router, its already un playable on stuff like BF2, TF2 etc
