Hmmmm. The pricing of the 870 would make sense if you make the 7 a 4 (coincidentally next to each other on the pad).
    Society's to blame,
    Or possibly Atari.

Yeah, £700+ has to be a typo, surely ?
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Must be a typo, Intel would be shooting themselves in the foot. Even the Core i5 is pricey, but give it a month and it will go down.

Exactly. An introductory price of £428 makes a lot of sense when the i7 940 is ~£400.

Maybe it is the extreme chip with unlocked multi, they charge alot more than the locked chips for these.

Let's see how the 860 clocks, might be more worthwhile getting the 920 if it doesnt overclock that well.

Im sure it will clock just fine , maybe better than X58. I cant remember a Quad core that did not clock well in the last year. Of this sort of calibre anyway.
