I'm not convinced. One of the main features of the original is that it's very tactile, I can't imagine that an electronic version would give the same kind of feedback.

And seriously, £140 for a Rubik's Cube?

Orignally i thought hmm this will be a nice novelty and its my dad's birthday coming up.

Then i saw the price tag.

Its too expensive to hit with a hammer when you get frustrated with it. I found the fastest way for me to do the cube was to take it apart. Removing a battery just isn't as rewarding.

Reminds me of the LightsOut Cube I had when I was just a boy:

What was wrong with the old 'cube? :(

So many hours spent as a kid on these, including my favorite, the Rubik's Magic....

£140 for a digital cube? lol

I like solving a proper cube by rotating the sides and whatever - I doubt a digital one would be as fun to use.
