It does look pretty though. And so very very thin.
If you want a super widescreen gming monitor you could get a few LED display panels and multiplex them together. These will give you that with a truly borderless screen, but you will need a big living room to be able to use them

Man you guys need to calm down. Borderless TVs already exist they are called projectors. Now get rid of that jungle wallpaper and you will be set.

Even the picture instantly shows you it's not borderless and not by a fair bit - look at the LG logo! It does look like a good TV though.

Re: News - LG parades 'first ever borderless' TV

I unboxed this and put it on the wall @ work the other week, my first thoughts? WHAT THE @?!# ... I am considering emailing LG and asking them how they expect me to defend their CLEARLY false advertising to customers.

NONE of the models are "borderless", all have at least a 1.5" bezel around the edge, the 42" model's bezel is about 2".... and the screen quality is a JOKE!

Sorry for the amount of caps, but this TV has really fecked me off!

Why the fixaton with borderless? Adds nothing (no pun intended) to the TV.

I'd even suggest that having a border is better - saves the picture blurring with the background / flowery wallpaper behind the TV.

    Pointless development.

It's an overcrowded marketplace, with everyone selling essentially the same thing they have to try and find ways to stand out in the TV stores. That said, I'm certainly not going to be racing to buy one of these. It seems like an awkward half way house between a flat screen and a projector.

Whats wrong with border on normal TV's?

Its not like having it borderless give you any more screen size. You're still getting the same amount of " that you pay for.
