Why do manufactors always stick the EPS power socket in such a bad location, surely it doesn't add that much more to the cost to move it to the edge?

Can make it more accessible in full tower cases with bottom-mounted PSUs. Having said that, the CPU cable in my full-size p182 with bottom mounted PSU passes behind the motherboard, all the way to the top to come out and plug into the mobo.. not sure if the cable routing would work with the power socket further down.

Sorry, but I have had only bad experience with the firm, and for me, the ECS trademark means 'no go', no matter how great it looks like.
My last mobo from them KV2 Lite (socket 939) did look good and seemed well -made but a lot of bios settings just did not work
