On green belt land in a protected area that they agreed never to build on when they build the HQ building.............team principal Ron Dennis, is expected to be built at a new factory alongside McLaren's headquarters near Woking, Surrey. The new factory is expected to employ up to 800 people and could produce 4,000 cars per year by 2014.
Nice looking car though

Given the current economic climate, im sure some councillor overlooked the environment thing when he saw the vast cash injection into his local constituency.
Shame that its will probably all be build in china/india/mexico and other various car manufacturing countries, then simply shipped to McClaren, who will install 20-odd screws and then say "we built it"
does it have a diffuser?![]()
Not being a super car aficionado, I think it just looks like a bunch of others. Ferrari, Lambo, etc.
Gorgeous-looking car! Shame I'll never be able to afford one!

You can see styling cues / identity carried over from the F1 though every time I look at it I think of the Noble M15
GDI, surely it's about time I won the lottery?![]()

I'm surprised McLaren haven't done something like this already. They were/are in such a prime position, brand-wise, to make a car to compete in the £150k range.
