yeaaah I think almost everyone would prefer a proper slc ssd in their ultra thin netbooks that are going to come flying at us in about a month or two. UNLESS, they are mass produced, reliable and are available for £20 at your local etailer...of course...:)

Unlikely - laptop drives at 2.5" already exist and few people use them in desktops because of poorer price/performance and capacity. Also a smaller drive wouldn't make that much difference because of the size of every other components inside. If you don't like the size of an ATX desktop there are always plenty of small form factor systems.
