Can't blame them to be honest. B:AA is the perfect game, I'd glady buy the Joker card if I was currently building a rig.

Its a stunning game having played the demo, I will be looking to purchase a copy of the game. I am also thinking of maybe replacing my GPU so who knows... 1 stone 2 birds....

and I will get a 'collectors edition graphics card'

Too bad it'll be an Nvidia. When the 5870 and 5850 is released next wednesday they'll be lucky if they are still in the game.

But they don't support physX do they? Apparently physX is needed to make this game playable (according to lots of rabid fanboys).

Personally my budget for a new GPU is around £150, +25 for the game and I will see what will give me the most bang for my buck at that price point. Lots of Nvidia cards are giving this game away either on disk or as digital DL.

I was going to buy a 5870 but the lack of physX is starting to concern me. Although it is only in 'Batman: Arkham Asylum' I have heard it make any real difference.

Poppy cock, I play without PhysX, and it's fine.

I don't think it makes that much of a difference in that either... I played the demo on my ageing wheezing (the fan is dying) 8800gts and it looked stunning.

I will wait for the 58XXs to come out and see what graphics card gives the best bang for buck at my price point and get that, if it has physX then great B:AA will look even more stunning than stunning, if it doesn't I will just have to console myself with every other game looking a bit better and on being able to support DX11 (which according to Nvidia isn't important, although I wonder if they would still be saying that if their next gen cards were coming out next week and were DX11 compliant and AMD/ATI's DX11 card was a way off.......)
