That's a bit of a cheat - the "document scanner" is the 2MP webcam:

Wireless charging is a fantasic idea, the uses for it and the technology involved will change the way we use every battery powered item.
Make that just about every electrical item in our home and work life..... It would be fantastic to be able to use all sorts of items without ever having to worry about plugging them in!Quote:

Still, that's post-psu - assuming there's the usual powerbrick for AC->DC in there too - so that's 80% best case from the wall, and thenafter 70% for induction. I'm not sold on the idea really - you still need to be in close proximity to the socket, and the range as you say is basically zero.Quote:
