    I am not sure this will happen. I think GPU prices will come down and I see chipsets on motherboards are going down too, but I don't think CPU prices will change in the next month.

    I know, I know, that's why I'm praying. Frankly I think prices are probably going to rise across the board for most if not all components as manufacturers clear their inventories, as the other report here already mentioned.

    I also noticed a firming of component prices as we near the release date for Windows 7 as well. And there I was thinking I'll upgrade when Windows 7 comes out instead of formatting and installing the OS twice! *Sigh* laziness is going to cost me...
