    HEXUS.tv :: Preview :: The Thermaltake Level 10

    The impressively styled Thermaltake Level 10 chassis is given a thorough preview by HEXUS.tv.... and this case certainly has the 'wow' factor in spades.
    Watch the show.

    I LOL'd at the intro. When you said "today I've got with me" I expected you to be introducing a chap from Thermaltake... nope, just a case

    Oh, and "HDDD"

    Funky case though... good vid.
    PHP Code:
    $s = new signature();
    $s->sarcasm()->intellect()->font('Courier New')->display();

    Don't worry it's barely noticeable. In fact i had to watch it twice just to make sure it had happened!

    Cheers for finally breaking apart in depth a case i've been toying with the idea of for about a year now!!

    Hmmm, a few points.

    Is the the cover for the psu and motherboard totally removable or does it just swing to one side on non-detachable hinges? Is the motherboard tray also removable?

    Otherwise I can see it being a real pain to connect things up if the motherboard cover keeps on whacking you on the elbow.

    Build quality: is it scratch proof?

    Does it come with wheels or slider pads? (I can just hear the designers groan...)

    Just had a quick look for you as it's here in the studio next to me:

    Both doors swing open to just over 90 degrees, they do not lift off the hinges like the optical drive cover.

    This is a hand-built sample, so the build quality can't really be commented on fairly. I'm not going to scratch test it though... sorry.

    Not that I can see for slider pads and definitely no wheels.

    Thanks Nick, always enjoyed your relaxed delivery.

    Hmmm, think I shall remain on the fence with this until a review on a production model comes out... any idea when that might be?

    Cheers!

    Tbh, it was done in a bit of a rush to get it up quickly.

    No news on a launch date, not even a hint as far as we're aware.

    Thanks Nick and Hexus for that vid. Stunning case, great vid. I really hope this sells well. I love seeing somebody taking a fresh look at something that somehow always ends up looking like a box.

    consider me entered in the Hexus giveaway for one of these.

    Pricing isn't confirmed yet... but if it goes into production, expect it to be *premium*

    Re: HEXUS.tv :: Preview :: The Thermaltake Level 10

    that is THE reason that HEXUS.tv is so good. I now have a proper "feel" for the case, a good vibe about it, and the tv show makes it more real, easier to identify with.

    Love it, it's a VERY good way to do case reviews
