Not to sound deliberately cynical, but I'll eat my shoes if it happens and the socks as well if it's actually any good.
For the forseeable future unless like me you want to haul the N64 back outta the cupboard I think Goldeneye: Source is about as close as we're ever going to get to a remake

I quite enjoyed rogue agent - nothing special but playable.
I do fear a goldeneye remake though - its never going to be as good and will only spoil good memories.
Im in two minds, on one hand quite excited (if its even made) but then on the other i agree with cheesemp, in that it might ruin all those great memories on the N64
since we already have a remake this is pretty irrelevant anyway.
