Sounds a decent spec. Would be good for something wall mountable in the bedroom.

I like that Asus have started to do HDMI in on their all-in-ones and monitors, useful for those with a games console and wanting to save space. I hope more manufacturers follow in their footsteps.

Correct me if I'm wrong but ION was just an Atom version of the existing 9300/9400 chipset that's been on HTPC motherboards and in laptops (Apple et al) for ages...

They might have decided to re-brand the mobile versions ION or something, but they were orginally for Core 2 anyway... then adapted for Atom...

Pretty much what I was thinking. If anything, this is Ion 0, rather than Ion 2

Then again, given NVidia's predeliction towards renaming old SKUs to create new ones, it probably *will* be called Ion 2...

    QFT!

With that spec on the CPU side, shame doesn't come with a more powerful option on the GPU, though I appreciate that this system is not targeted at gamer types...

would love to get one of these sorts of computer for my parents (permanently using laptops at home sucks imho).
