Hopefully this article will bring some perspective to ATI fanbois about really how a 3 month lead on DX11 is trivial.
The market for NVIDIA products extends further than just desktop graphics. CUDA is being taught in colleges arcoss the country for goodness sakes. Their market with Telsa, Tegra and ION are dominating the non-consumer market right now. ATI is having shortages with the 5xxx series, some stores reporting a 2 month wait, so their customers can't even get their hands on this much touted about technology. They might as well wait for Fermi to lauch if they can't get their hands on a 5xxx card.
NVIDIA isn't going anywhere people. They've only made their influence deeper in the graphics world. I have my GTX 275 that I bought for $189.99 3 months ago. You can keep your Radeon.
Oh please. You complain about AMD fanbois and then immediatly launch into a complete nVidia fanbois rant....PRICELESS
The sceptics amoung us (and the more camp-neutral) will be wondering how much of these profits are due to overpriced cards being re-badged from the previous generations, combined with dodgy chips being sold en masse even after the fault has been identified.
Have the back-handers been taken into account on these figures also?![]()

I wish fanbois like you could stop polluting Hexus with your trolling!
We should be all grateful of the competition between the various tech companies as it brings the prices down for all of us. Just extolling the virtues of one company does not help anyone and is nothing but e-peen. Let me guess it is because you bought a GTX275 card that now you need to tell the world how brilliant your choice is??
Big deal!! I have bought more Nvidia graphics cards than ATI ones but I have no need to be trolling forums to say how brilliant they are!!![]()
Here is one of your earlier posts on 30-09-2009 at 01:04 PM :
"As an NVIDIA fanboy, I'm rediculously excited to see what insues. I'm almost just as excited about the GT300 series as I am about the Telsa conferences. Some pretty amazing technologies coming out of NVIDIA these days? Identity crisis? No, just expansion of a high successful GFX company into markets that are untapped by high performance graphics. Rock on nVidia. Rock on."
WTF?? Wait until the blooming card actually comes out and then all of us can nod our head in appreciation if it works out fine.

Not you; the dollar signs and the low post count from after the AMD NV thing on the other thread are a dead giveaway.
