Apparently the issue with 3 is software related, something to do with their SIMs.

A fix is said to be released later in the year, and as it is November already, that shouldn't be long in coming.

    Errrr ...

    N97, 5800 ...

This phone doesn't support MMS and the battery life is pants according to tests. Its a step in the right direction and Nokia should ditch Symbian altogether.

As a long time symbian user (Ngage, N73, N96) all I can say is: 'About time'. Symbian was good but its just not kept up pace with the competition. Also hopefully this will enable more software to be released (should be relatvely easy for someone to create an andriod/Maemo cross platform development kit).
    Trust

    Laptop : Dell Inspiron 1545 with Ryzen 5500u, 16gb and 256 NVMe, Windows 11.

MMS is a bit of an omission if true... but battery-wise how many smartphones last more than a day of good use anyway? None of mine ever have... only last if I don't touch it.

MMS is dead though isn't it with having a 3G connection and email clients on the phone.

it's much easier to send things via email now on handsets like this.

I don't miss MMS on my iphone as I send everything via my gmail to their mobile email addresses.
