Overclockers have had solid stock, and they're going fast. £570ish I think

You know what I really need? Another article that mentions this card is "fastest in the world".

Right after I just bought a 4890 3 days ago cuz this wasn't in stock.

Could have sworn this thread was about video cards and not off topic personal attacks that blatantently violate TOS. Go figure.

If you have a specific complaint about a specific post, please report it using the report post button! (otherwise you might get caught up in any potential crossfire!)

Rollo has declared his membership of the Nvidia User Group, and members will read his posts with that in mind, however constructive debate that does not constitute specific advertising is quite acceptable.

Nothing wrong with the 4890. You can now CF very cheaply, (around £125 ATM) or wait until Summer, sell it, and invest in your choice of ATi or NV cards. Hopefully the competition will have dragged down the pricing by then.
    Society's to blame,
    Or possibly Atari.

Re: News - AMD ATI Radeon HD 5970: launch-day pricing and availability

Still keep thinking about buying one but the only one I can find in stock is £520.

I find it quite steep....thats actually more expensive then I paid for my 4870x2 AND the waterblock for it........

I guess greed is taking hold of retailers as xmas approaches.....guess it must be nice to work in a business where you can forcefully increase prices, especially on the run-up to xmas.

I think I will wait until the non-theiving scum get them in stock and then order.
