    I wonder if the XScale is there because of the battery backup features, or if there's an x86 "Pro" version planned.

    150MB/s on a single port, that's clever (impossible kind of clever) given the theoretical max for 1Gb ethernet is 125MB/s and you'll never hit that due to packet overhead etc.

    LOL, can't believe I didn't spot that one. Maybe if you're reading and writing simultaneously and have a near zero overhead packet protocol then full duplex gigabit might do it?

    ...but I doubt it.
