Full list of mirrors can be found here:

edit: Hmm, remember that weird bug with the demo for Grid where menu's slowed to about 1 fps? Well I've got that with this demo too. The menu inside the trailer runs at 1 fps. Go outside and it's 60.

Unfortunately I hated the first DIRT. Something about driving without traction doesn't appeal to me. I did love GRID though. Can't wait for a DX11 release of any GRID sequel.

The only thing different between GRID and DIRT is that one is contains track cars the other rally, with the latter being the stronger game of the two.

for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Personally I'd say GRID was way better then DIRT and i'm a big fan of both... More variety of cars and the superb drift gp races Might give the demo of this a download to see how it compares to the 360 visuals.

Opinions eh Tbh the visual didn't look overly better than 360/PS3 which i thought was surprising - and if anything shows how good pieces of kit they or or how good the EGO engine is. I know im not using a DX11 card but i still expected some notable improvement.

Don't get why the game requires steam yet the demo isn't available on steam. Got it with my 5850 and it's out in a couple of days so i'll just wait for the full game.

Exactly, and that means completely different types of racing. One is about traction and speed and the other is about slipping and drifting. Well, there is drifting in GRID but not the same as racing up a hill while doing it.

Not exactly. What i was getting at is that there both poor when it comes to reflecting handling the only difference being the car skins, however i can forgive DIRT for it as i suppose its meant to feel crap so to speak.

Re: News - DX11 cards at the ready: DiRT 2 demo lands today

I'm finding the rally stage really quite good actually. If this game was just about rally I'd probably get it. But the buggies were rubbish and I didn't get any enjoyment out of playing that bit at all.

Grid also had a crap handling model, but it was still worth the £7 or so it costs these days.

Please, please, please call it "rallying" like the world except the USA. I've followed the sport for over 40 years now and using the term "rally" drives me mad. Please!

What does WRC stand for? What's the difference between a noun and a verb?

It stands as anyone knows for World Rally Championship, but I go rallying. You play a rally game but whilst doing it you are rallying. But don't call the sport Rally its rallying.

Precisely. Noun. Like football, noun. If I wanted I could play a game about football.
