At 749 I think I'd go for a decent amp, speakers and soundcard!
Do look loverly though :)
Is that truely £749.99? and not £74.99?
Who in their right mind would pay that much for ipod speakers.
Plus HK aren't really reknowned for their speakers, they are ok but I would prefer to spend my money on something from someone like Mission and get an amp etc.
Oh and IMO they look hideous. If I was paying that much I would want lashings of real wood!
£749.99 for 2 speakers....
For that price one can have a very nice 5.1 setup and enjoy the sound even better.
I'm sure though that at least 1 posing banker who got a bonus will get these for someone this christmas :)
OK, if they are glass, won't all the dust that naturally gets in the bass port make it look pretty grubby pretty quickly?
I guess I am the only one that likes the glass aspect of it haha. Now I had an idea... a full glass setup. A case made out of glass, a monitor screen encased in glass (not just the monitor in glass, I mean the actual LCD screen housed in glass) and a glass keyboard with a glass mouse and a glass table and glass walls and a glass house... wait what am I thinking? o.O
EDIT: Forgot to comment on the price, £749.99... Wow I can get an i7 + Mobo + 5870 setup just about for that price.
damn, forget about the ice cool looks, the price is on fire.
I wonder how good these sound though, never heard or tried out speakers with all these new "technologies".
They do know glass resonates, right?.. Not exactly a good material to make up the chassis of speaker drivers.
@ £750 I'm not even sure I want to hear them. This way I won't know what I'm missing ;-)
