at this rate, it'll be worth me giving up my job and becoming a bum myself.

    really does make a mockery.

    "disadvantaged" "low income"

I'm no expert, but low income/disadvantaged isn't really the same boat as unemployed is it. I'm all for helping those struggling to fight poverty, but if you ain't got a job, you ain't getting no luxuries. Or is that just me....thinking you have to work to pay for things like that?

t reckons it can also send out job vacancies to people's mobile phones. We expect them to read something like this:

LOOKNG FR TRNSLTR 2 HLP UNDRSTND D YOOF OF TDY. PLZ APPLY HR IF U FIL U HV TH SKLLS RQRD.
    if i want a there/theinq style article i will go to there/theinq tbh :/

Can't you just go to the bloody Job Centre to browse for jobs online? How about the library? There is internet access there. This is just a waste of tax payers money, aren't we already paying for bailing out banks?

    What an absolute joke.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Re: News - UK to dole out laptops, broadband to unemployed

Every day it becomes more and more beneficial to quit your job and live off benefits. I mean lets face it, why would people want to go back to work when all their basic needs are met and they have luxury items as well.

As somebody who works, i struggle to pay for my broadband some months, and buying a new laptop? No chance at all!

    Congratulations Labour, another ridiculous failure

Clueless idiot Goverment strikes again. A portion of long term unemployed are unemployer cause they can't be bothered to get a job. All they will do is sell the laptop on ebay so they can buy more crack. Makes me laugh as I'm out of work at the end of Jan and been told that unless I'm a crack smoking granny beater I'm entitled to sod all to help me back into work. Looks like I'm taking up a drug habbit then.

    Indeed it is.

Is Gordon Brown trying to get his way and run England into the ground while gaining independance for Scotland so that when it comes to retirement, he can cross back to Scotland and retire in a modest well off style?

I wouldn't joke, they give alcoholics in treatment centre's money every day to have a few drinks to ween themselves off it. Had a cousin in this situation and he would spend the money on the cheapest crap he could drink and in the end died of liver complications anyway.

To me it's a backwards system, they are an addict so they give them money to ween themselves off but we are talking around £10 - £15 a day for the worst of the addicts. I don't see why this should be the case.

Just to add to this, they should cut the money all together and take addicts to see those like my cousin who are on their death bed with their whole body shutting down and their own liver poisoning them. We found all this out when it was to late, his family hid it and we found out when he was in hospital and this is when it all came out about the treatment centre and the money they gave them to "ween" themselves off the drink. Seeing what I saw the day he died, the fear in his eyes, the inability to move, talk or function in any capacity, you got the odd grunt from him when he was replying or asking for help. That is enough to put even the hardened drinkers off. It's not a sight to be seen.
