It's easier than that. Right click on the flash area, click "Settings" then click the folder (3rd) tab along the bottom. Set the storage to minimal (nothing) and close. Reload the page, then you can put it back to how it was in the same way.

That'll clear your tv.hexus.net flash cookies.

1. His post has been up for 9 hours, whereas mine was edited after only 10 minutes... Why is it ok for some people to insult but not others? I notice you've been back to this thread again now after I reported the post and still done nothing. I've had this happen before, reporting insults that are against the rules - nothing is done, so what else is there to do if you turn a blind eye?
2. What I said, like him, wasn't in the filter not starred or anything without doing anything weird, I thought this meant it was ok?

I don't get the reports for this area of the forum - the specific forum mods get that - I was browsing for my own interest when I came across your post. It was totally unacceptable, and furthermore is something you have been warned for (and obviously not learnt from) before.

As to IPs, I have a good understanding thanks, but I'm sure as a mod team we can make it really difficult for you to remain here. It is not something we want to do, but you are giving us little other option, and plus, you'd lose your existing account - one you've had a fair while, and I presume would want to retain?

So, play nice, and we won't have an issue. Continue causing problems, well, that wouldn't be advisable.

It is a shame you feel the need to show such contempt for the simple requests of the mods here, and I was hoping that you actually enjoyed your membership here, and as such, would want to retain it. Sadly it seems I was mistaken.

As to whether holiday was smarmy? possibly, but it was meant as a nudge in the right direction. I don't like banning members, and it isn't something we consider lightly.

The reason we use the terms we do, such 'holiday' is because that's what we use... it's not meant to be smarmy or anything else. I'll use the term 'short term ban' instead then... which makes the post much less friendly and reasonable, huh?

And yeah, loads of people use proxies and the like to sign back up to HEXUS... and for the ones that do it over and again just to rile us, we ban them... it's two clicks and done so it's no great hardship.

But it should never get to that stage and doesn't need to now.

I do (I don't really consider a username "membership" though), most of the time it's a nice place but stuff like this gets on my nerves: I like most wouldn't just totally ignore it if some random "scene" kid came up and insulted me like that in real life, if we are going to hold ourselves by higher standards here to stop arguments/fights it at least makes sense to keep them equally rather than only reacting when it escalates...
