just some updates for CS:S would be nice! If they can't update their current game what chance is there for a new one?

I would love to see a new Counterstrike too, I would buy it. lets hope they listen eh...

Doesnt need a new one, CSS is perfect the way it is unless your just updating graphics then ill be happy. Most of my mates who play on pc play CSS religiously (kinda like me), one of them is in the worlds 17th best team (that is impressive if u think bout it), he doesnt have a problem with the game either :P.
Im used to CSS hit boxes and all that now (coming from cs 1.6 was a huge difference), in all honesty the graphics arent that bad and when i compared them to games like Cod WaW i was suprised how little better cod was, it was pretty dire IMO. I hate COD but thats because its to mainstreme and anyone can play it and get the kills and stuff, no real tactic.
CSS/1.6 requires crap loads of tactics and skill to be good and win, i love a challenge :).
I used to love playing CSS, and still do now and again, but after 4 years with no updates the lack of game support has killed it really.
They told us that once Team Fortress 2 was completed that they would fix CSS, then they updated DoD (badly) and left CSS. Then they said that once LFD was completed they would update CSS, still they did nothing.
It is about 2 years since then, and still... nothing.

Think the problem is with CS its a classic, if they touch it then there likely to balls it up in one way or another..
New weapons and updated graphics would be nice, maybe different game types instead of just the hostage grab or bomb ones, havent seen any VIP rescue maps in a looong time but something like CS thats still being played is a good indication of just how "right" they got it in the first place..
I would much rather have HL2 Ep3 than CS2... I appreciate there is still a large online CS following, but for me the game is just far too long in the tooth - let it die, tbh.

I stopped playing CSS due to the lack of updates, I'd personally like anything new to come out of Valve other than L4D!
Even though other things might not be better, they are "newer" and have a different kind of appeal...
Would be more interested in a DOD Source update, still the best ww2 fps imo, just bring back the brits!!!
Not sure if we will see another cs but i would be interested, did enjoy some 1.6 and css sometime back.
