Credit where credit's due, Win 7 has just worked on everything I've installed it on, from laptops to ancient Socket A rigs with not much memory. Added to that, for me, it's more stable than any previous Windows platform, (excepting those server platforms I've not used 2003 & 2008).

Same here, glad i went to this from xp and skipped Vista - seems it was a good move
