These have been out for a while haven't they (Dec 09)? Or did Samsung only just release PR statement to you guys?
I got one from Scan last week or so for around £125. I'll be ordering some more for sure!
I noticed they still haven't updated their main site to include the new 2TB.
You've called it both the F2EG and the F3EG in the article - which is it? I'm presuming F3EG seeing as it has 500GB platters.
2TB for £120 = 16.66GB/£, or
1.5TB for £73.26 = 20.48GB/£
Cheapest 2TB on scan is actually £115.70, which makes 17.29GB/£
When they reach 20GB/£, I'll think about dropping some dosh and expanding my 1.5TB to 3.5TB
Both F2 and F3 have 500GB platters, but only the F2 is EcoGreen, so F2 methinks :)Quote:
