I'd expect it to be a tad noisy for a HTPC.....be nice to see a review.

They did these for the 9600 and 9800 too, the problem is the fan is too small and whines away and still it gets too hot. Apparently a lot of fans failed, so lets hope the 250 runs cooler and doesnt have the same issue.
