Hmm! Very interesting! The casing looks a big naff but it is good to see a bezel that's got a lesser surface area that the screen itself! The thickness is a bit off-putting but it's hardly a brick and so long as the body is sculpted well at the edges I'm sure it would be fine. Personally, I don't care much about multitouch, just so long as it is capacitive rather than resistive.
I will await more details with glee!

and ...err....can I...run Itunes on it?

Blatently not a real product, the whole thing looks photoshopped...

35mm thick! I might as well carry around a netbook, at least I would have a proper keyboard.

Why does it show XP if it ships with 7? No point wasting time getting it to work with XP if it's not going to use it.

Re: News - British firm laughs in the face of the iPad, launches the iTablet
why would you want to run XP on a tablet. big fail for me

Am I the only one who thinks 1024x768 is too low a resolution for something that's meant to be for web browsing? You have to scroll to see the whole page, for goodness' sake. That is SO 2009. *cough* 2002 *cough*.

If a small, unheard of company can create this, i can't wait to see what the big boys offer! :D

So... it's a standard netbook without a keyboard?

It won't sell well simply because it's just too damned big. The thing about this format, as with netbooks is portabilty, functionality & affordability. The company that hit's upon this winning combination is going to be king.
Apple has the most going for it, but viewing the W.W.Web without Flash support in itself is going to kill it for a lot serious surfers. Plus, past the gimmick factor, I just can't see the format progressing much past the "wow, isn't that cool" stage.
Did the tablet PC cane the market? No. Lesson learned imo.

Exactly what I'm thinking... there's nothing with their product that really jumps out at me!

I give it two weeks before it isn't called the iTablet anymore...

Same with the Ipad, it is a limited functioning net book. Its all nothing more than a gimmick. Where are real world practical uses for this kind of product. I think these companies have gone a little loopy, touchscreen works for phones as they have to be small and space is limited, but for a computer, you need a keyboard to make any real use of it.
Love to see you write a essay on a tablet on the train, then use a proper netbook/laptop.

Oooh look, another pointless tablet device that won't be as successful as a proper netbook would. Wow.
