Could be the replacement for the Samsung NC10 I have been using for the last year or two. Was looking at the Samsung N510 but depending on price I may pick this one up.

I don't see the point in making a purchasing decision from Ion to Ion 2. Combined with the Atom processor, it is going to do next to naff all for games. Media playback is done perfectly with existing Ion netbooks.

Going from a on board intel chip that I have on the samsung nc10 it struggles with HD youtube vids let alone HD content. Looking at ION 2 as depending on now much the difference is between a ion or ion2 will be the sweet spot.

Personally I think wait for the next generation, ION one versions are good enough and the CPU isn't any faster, if it had VT on it, that might be interesting. However I see pineview as a fix for a rubbish (intel) chipset in Diamondvile rather than a better processor.

would be interesting to see how it compares to ION1 in terms of power usage and so on. If it draws less power it'd be possibly a good way to skip the first generation Atom and Atom+ION netbooks/nettops.
Would certainly be a nice upgrade from my little Aspire One ZG5, especially if the out of the box battery life is as predicted.
