To be honest, I sense a lot less urgency of going beyond 4GB compared to 512 >-1024 -> 2048MB. I suppose that it may have to do with the fact that there are more desktop running 32bit OS than 64bit if I am not mistaken.
yes but in the market of the HyperX brand are there more 32bit? I'd hope not!
However I think this is really the ultimate in epeen waving, but there are probably some who are doing something which requires that much RAM...... Thou for the life of me, I can't think what.
throw new ArgumentException (String, String, Exception)
this stuff is pushing 50 quid per GB. ok it's high performance but i don't like this trend of ever more expensive memory products. Anyone know if we'll see samsung's 3x nm chips in retail any time this year?
Why is the latency so crappy?
9-9-9-27 is awful!
8-8-8-24 is the "norm" for this sort of speed.
Talk about overkill! There needs to be a push to make 64bit OSes the standard, and it's advancements like this that are helping to do so.
