How much processing is required to compile the image data I wonder.
The view of my place is older than June last year as I can see the previous owners cot in the spare room window, and a friend of mine says the view of his place is at least 18 months old. This is quite weird as other parts of Aberdeen and surrounding area have been online since Street View launched in the UK.

They actually just added my street in the last few days. The postman is delivering letters to our house :D .
Re: News - Google Street View covers almost all of Britain's roads
Just added my street too, our postman has no head!
Re: News - Google Street View covers almost all of Britain's roads
They copped me outside college!
Re: News - Google Street View covers almost all of Britain's roads
Just looked at my parent's house and their is no blurring on my mum's car's number plate - I suspect because the car is the same colour as the plate and the softwar didn't detect it. I wonder how many other people are going to have this problem - and most won't be flagged up.

Definately at least 18 months here as well, looks like the summer of 2008 by the building works that are going on.

I count 4 cars that lack bluring on the street I live on, the images have been available since last year.

Well... You were doing 70mph, so what's the problem? ;)
Re: News - Google Street View covers almost all of Britain's roads
Streetview shows my street, but the overhead imagery just shows empty fields where my street is! :beta:
Re: News - Google Street View covers almost all of Britain's roads
I can see my Mini under its tarpaulin. I got rid of it in October. Fuel prices are 92.9ppl for unleaded and 99.9ppl for diesel, so it was after summer 2008.
I was really hoping to see a street view car so that I could jump in the air and pretend to be riding an invisible bike. :(

Luckily it hasn't made it out to where I live yet. Not that my house would ever show anyway :)

It's worrying how easy it is to access stuff like this these days - nice to see your own house and all that, but it makes me wonder whether criminals could also use the imagery for their gain.
