Still havent fixed the bluescreen playing any directx game with two 5970's and six monitors, 3 plugged into each, crossfire off, issue reported two months ago!
I cant believe how fast these drivers are!.
In Crysis, Metro 2033, the difference is much bigger that can you imagine.

Tell me about it, if you read their eyefinity supported configurations document dosent say i should be having problems, also says i can get 3x2 which I seriously can't! i put a youtube video up here: youtube.com/watch?v=vuWuhqPQdJo to show the crash, ATI's support is so bad it took me two months to get to a stage where they have put a call into the engineering department, honestly after all of this i know i made a mistake buying ATI and should have waited for the 480 from nivdia to be honest, if they havent fixed the issue in the 10.4 drivers, i'm going to sell both cards and buy into nvidia.
Why haven't you returned the card to the retailer? Just sounds like you've got a duff card rather than anything inherent.
Hopefully they will resolve this issue:-

As both my 5770's and my 5870 all suffer the same issue.
It's not a case of just RMA'ing then and hoping for the best, like I said if the issue isnt fixed by 10.4 i'll sell thme and won't try ATI again for a few years, the support is super bad, and the issue isnt the cards its the drivers, as i've swapped the position of the cards round so they use different slots, primary and secondary swapped, if i use one card(any card pick a card) and three monitors plugged in, everythig is fine, no issues, if i use 2 cards (cross fire off) with 3 monitors pluged into the first and just a single fourth monitor on the second card, instant blue screen, blatant bug that I had to spend 2 months litrally convincing and pleding with the support guys was a bug and needed to be forwarded to their engineering team.
Why would you hope for the best? You've got a product that's not working as advertised. Get a refund from the retailer.
If drivers are required to enable the product to work then they're part of the product you bought. Take it back to the retailer and they should either provide you with drivers that enable it to work, or give a refund.and the issue isnt the cards its the drivers
