And what'd be the fun in watching it if we told you all about it?

Anyway, basically we're going to test the ADATA SH93 ruggedised hard drive... in our usual completely (un)professional fashion.

The best bit is, you can WIN, yes, WIN the piece of kit once we've completed the testing and broken it. How cool is that?? :)

They broke it? I dunno I just feel that I wasted 6minutes of my life on a joke that was sorta funny for maybe 10 seconds... at a stretch 20... and I have no idea how to enter the competition.

On a side note I used to work for an IT company that supplied IT equipment to the MOD through out the UK. In the 80s and 90s it was standard practice to load kit onto pallets and then drop them from nearly hovering helicopters in NI, because they didn't want to hang around to long in case certain nutters decided to take a pop at them. Apparently the IT bods would then just sort out whatever had survived the drop and try and use that.

Noo, we have just figured out how to the testing. We haven't broken it yet... you never know, it may survive all the tests.

We haven't given out entry details yet as the testing hasn't finished, but I'll be sure to PM you the details to save you suffering any more at the hands of HEXUS.tv as I couldn't sleep with that on my conscience.

Is just an excuse for them to smash up expensive hardware and then giving it away instead of sticking it in the bin.
