hmm - thats interesting - The 1005 BIOS for the M4A98GTD/USB3 was released 18/03/10 and the only additional thing in the bios change log is support for new processors :)
Re: News - ASUS brings hexa-core Thuban support to M4-series AMD motherboards
Not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere but...
Having seen that ASUS are offering support on their boards, I wondered if Gigabyte would be doing it for mine... Seems that most of their AM3 and AM2+ boards now have on their overview page...
"Supports new generation of AMD Phenom™II X6 processors"
I say most... the GA-MA770-UD3 rev2.1 and rev2.0 support X6, but not the rev1.0 apparently... Guess which one i have :p
They also only list Phenom II X6 1055T (2.8Ghz) and X6 1035T (2.6Ghz) with no stepping or wattage info, which I think are the two we knew about already... so no incredible info leak to include with my first post :(
Edit: Turns out I'm a fool who didn't remember he first heard about the Thubians from a Hexus article about CPU listings on GIGABYTES website! :S Now if only I could figure out how to delete my post, then I could hide my foolishness so none may know....

Thats a nice suprise my old AM2+ board is compatible so that I could upgrade to the six-cores but as ive just bought a 965 I dont think I could afford another chip soon.
