What a great utility! Nice idea really. However, I cannot imagine that there is a market for such a thing. It sounds funny, but would anyone spend some money on this in reality?

erm... I would at the drop of a hat!

I'll probably wait though for the first revisions to come through and the prices to stabilise before I decide that I want a 3D TV for my room at home and wait to get enough good 3D content provided on either virgin or sky.

What's the point of getting it early if we're only going to have 3-6 channels that take advantage of it

Bit like HD 12 months ago really... it's not even that much better now.

As people have said before, my main hope for 3D is that it'll make HD free, much as HD made Sky+ free.

As for the pubs, I've got 3 within a 3 mile radius, so I should really try it some time. I've heard it is actually very good in the flesh, you don't get so much of the "is it going in" effect that 2D pictures suffer from.
