I can see what will happen in this situation, Apple will win with no payment and the other guy will have to suck it up.
That is what every body does when apples involved, wonder how HTC is doing right now.

Slightly unrelated but what's the deal anyway with the i at the front of iphone / ipad etc? Is it copyrighted or can anyone call something an i....whatever?

apple tried to get it copywrited and i believe it was turned down as it wasnt really legal or something.

I wouldn't go as far as calling it a 'rip-off' but the most obvious non-Apple i-Something to me would be the iRiver.

Perhaps the BBC iPlayer? Not to mention countless cheap third party peripherals for almost any tech item.
