    First look at Best Buy UK store

    US electronics retail giant Best Buy is due to open its first UK store this weekend, and HEXUS.tv brings you a video tour of what you can expect.

    Nice to see TV's actually set up with a decent feed - unlike what we have in Currys, Comet and Argos etc. That should have been these stores main aim a long time ago and will hopefully give them a kick in the the right direction ...

    just looks like Pc World tbh.... i just hope they undercut the market that is what we need.

    My thoughts exactly. Wonder how much of the 9 weeks training was devoted to link selling, and explaining why a little old lady needs to spend £50 on AV, and a £1000 on a computer to look at the grand kids online photo album.

    Apparently they're really against doing that. One of the blue shirts wanted to make it quite clear to me that he'd never sell an alienware laptop to someone's grandma.

    Any chance of a followup so we can ask them questions that we really want to answer? It was interesting, but would be more interesting if we could ask them questions about the practises of PC World/Comet/Currys etc that we don't like, to find out if they're going to be better?

    (I did notice the line about him saying that their staff aren't on commission, but would be interesting to see their sales targets)
