Not much changes does it? We still have to pay $644 for the exact same product that our American cousins pay $499 for. That's also more expensive than the equivalent IPad with 3G which comes in at $629 US.

Anyone buying an iPad at UK prices needs their head examining!

I remember seeing a discussion on this on a forum. The US prices exclude sales tax. Once you take off our VAT there was only a $40 premium. I don't know what iPad was used for this price dissection though. $40 too much IMHO but less than what you might think.
