Anyone playing this yet? Looks mad and intriguing in equal measure.

I started playing this in Closed Beta 3 at the beginning of the year, an interesting game. Some good writing and nice graphics with a bit of an edge to it that's perhaps missing from more sanitised Western games. Things went a bit downhill last week after a bugged patch but most issues appear corrected.

The game is free to play, perhaps 'real cash is optional' would be a better description, and can indeed be played all the way to level cap/Astral Ships and beyond without the need to spend a single penny. I certainly recommend giving it a go.

I would determine a good MMORPG to be;

1. Massively multi-player
2. Online
3. Role playing game

Out of the date for entry but having been a devoted World of Warcraft player for a good few years and now seeking a new game, I may aswell add my 20 word summary of what I think makes a good MMORPG.

A passionate community, a true feeling of accomplishment, a good storyline and an array of customisable features for your character.
