Re: News - Battlefield: Bad Company 2 console patch dated

I came to BC2 fairly late on but totally addicted to it. In the report it says :-
The G3, VSS, and all SemiAutomatic rifles now settle slightly faster between shots when aiming.

ยท The PKM, Type 88LMG, G3, An94, and 40mm shotgun have returned to their former glory.
Now the G3 is my favorite weapon, and in my opinion superbly powerful at the moment. The above statements actually bother me as I cannot believe the G3 needs an improvement ! The whole "Former Glory" really does make me wonder how good it was before !

And your point being ... ?!?

I wasnt questioning the authenticity of the statements, but that I didn't think the G3 needed any kind of boost as its a superb weapon as it is.

Calm down, Da Hoe. It's only a forum post.

But really, Medic guns with a x4 scope are so, so powerful. The buggers.

Cant stand the x4 scope, much prefer the red dot.

At the moment i'm loving using engineer with any shotty and by using the 12Gauge spec you can kill anyone across the other side of the map, almost like sniping but without the scope.

Haven't really touched BF2 in a while but I did take a liking to the engineer and the anti-tank mines.. loads of fun.
Ooh and I fired a random rpg shot across a map and ended up scoring a vechile kill and 2 enemy kills xD

Re: News - Battlefield: Bad Company 2 console patch dated

I'm hoping the next patch balance's weapons a bit, but I'm more concerned with addressing hit detection, which is poor at best. I've pretty much given up until it is sorted (and I see many others with the same issue). Either that or there are alot of very bullet-proof people running around in BC2. You'd think a shotgun blast to the face from 4 feet would do the job...
