This looks far more promising than the Humax one. Still pricey though, but then that's to be expected at this early stage.

I just want a dvb-t2 card for my media pc, is it too much to ask? But I'm getting severely tempted to just get a dvb-s card and stick a dish up.

I remember a while seeing both John Lewis and ebuyer selling similar but without the freeview. I'd probably just connect a freeview box to one of them. I looked into a lot of different ways of getting tv signals before I decided just to connect my monitor to my netbook and watch saved tv progs. Much better and without those annoying adverts.

I think i'm just going to have to resign myself to not having a DVB-T2 card in time for the world cup After that i'll probably just wait until Euro 2012 when they've dropped in price a bit as I imagine the first crop will be expensive with nothing too exciting to watch.

It would seem so.. I've been asking manufacturers when we might be seeing DVB-T2 hardware for a few months now... even they don't seem to have any clue.

Indeed, that's what I ended up doing. I still want a DVB-T2 card though.
