A Tablet PC by Samsung with an AMOLED display, "Android-like" OS, Flash support and multitasking would be a winner with me .. Maybe a year or two away though.
I think the weight of batteries is the thing that will hold back medium sized portable form factors.
Until small fuel cells come in the mainstream it's a considerable flaw in the design for true useability.
At the moment, Tablet devices attract a premium. I suspect that one day you will only be able to buy devices with touch, much like the TV market is going with 3D - depsite their current price premium.
It may be that this doesn't happen (for either technology) in 2010, but I think it's inevitable.
Touch will become a tick-box that producers will feel obligated to "tick".
