What the photo doesn't show is that the poor girl has had her fingers welded to the tablet to make sure she can hold on properly
Jesus another one?
Its like everyone copy Apple iPad party now haha
Well as Jay pointed out - Penny had the idea waaay before Apple ;)
Its funny how everyone releases tablet PCs suddenly? Nah I'm sure its a coincidence lol
If only Samsung hadn't made the Q1, more to the point ;) Or... well, with a bit of research I could go back a lot further. Tablets are a very long way from being an Apple initiative (unless you count the Newton, but afaict that was more of a big PDA), and were hovering around the tech shows years ago. MSI showed a couple of double-touch-screen netbooks at... was it Computex last year? Long time ago, anyway. Apple were in the zeitgeist, and they made the biggest song and dance about it (as usual), but they were certainly not trailblazers. In the same way that really good smartphones were available years before the iPhone, but apple made a huge song and dance about how good there's was and suddenly the iSheep all went mad for something they hadn't even imagined they might need 6 months previously.
Meanwhile, those of us who've been waiting more than 2 years for a mid-sized touchscreen PC are just glad that someone's finally got round to doing it.
