    Re: News - Xbox 360 'Slim' won't feature RROD.

    The actual error for a hardware failure in the new Xbox 360 is infact the;

    RDOD: Red Dot of Death

    The new Xbox 360 powerlight in the centre will actual display red instead of green when a hardware error occurs or something is wrong with the system.

    So essentially it does still exist but notifies the user differently.

    Well done Microsoft!

    What they should of done is when you turn the xbox on it boots up to a BSOD. Reboots, then repeats the process until the user has lost the will to live.

    Hopefully this is the case, and with the energy savings and low noise MS should finally have the console sorted (finally after however many years!)

    The new RROD will just be a video of bill gates laughing at you with a message "got you again"

    Re: News - Xbox 360 'Slim' won't feature RROD.

    Do you know why Microsoft are saying there is no RROD??

    That's because there won't be red rings anymore in the design! That doesn't mean there won't be a general hardware failure on the XBOX.

    BEWARE!
