I was going to buy one but went and looked at it yesterday, its awful - awful video playback and its way to heavy to use like a laptop for browsing purposes or to use as a book!
Simply put...why?

And? Apple can still afford to pay more and take working conditions into account, rather than just using the cheapest. If Apple were to do that then Foxconn would have to improve standards or they'd be overlooked by one of their biggest customers.Quote:

Don't know anyone who actually owns one though and as I work with other tech crazy people it kinda makes me wonder who is.
I've liked it's slickness having used it but i really have to agree on the weight - would of preferred a removable secondary battery so i could have it 'light' when i wanted it and heavy if i knew i was going to be away from the power for prolonged periods of time (which is rare).
It'll be interesting to see other tablets - i am interested in the format!
