Tests claim there really is a problem with the iPhone 4’s antenna leaving Apple with egg on its face and a plan to censor its forum.

The company lacks any modesty and humility. This is now catching up with them.

Step 1 - Phone reports problem.

Step 2 - Change software to no longer reports the problem

Step 3 - Kill all those who investigate the issue.... INFEDELS!

Starting to wonder if there is a scary cult behind those shiney apple products, like an episode of doctor who, all with iphones will soon turn into killer sheep and take over the planet!

Apple is removing anything related to this report from the places it is able to (their forums, etc).

And the Macs of the world wonder why other people hate Apple.

The thing i love is how between the old Iphone and the new one, they changed the signal 'algorithm'. Did the old one not work?

I hope iPhone4 customers realise Apple is now treating them like dirt.

It's not Apple vs. non-Apple. Non-Apple people is just highlighting this fact to them.

which is why they hate the non apple people, no one likes someone pointing out how wrong they are, especially the more stubborn they are about it!

You didn't read the open letter that the article linked to then?

According to Apple, no iPhone has ever worked properly, and when the roll out this software update it will affect all iPhones (so you'll suddenly find that your 5 bars reception at home drops mysteriously to 3 bars). However that's not what the independent tests suggested...

Re: News - Influential report rubbishes Apple’s iPhone 4 reception claim

Which is a load of crap since I only get 1 sometimes two bars of GPRS signal out where we live on my 3G. Are Apple now saying once they release this fix my phone will no longer function?

I've never been taken in by the whole Apple mania fanboi-ism whatsoever and I only bought one because it fit the bill perfectly for what I wanted and I got a fairly chunky corporate discount on it. Now that I've seen the whole iPhone4 debacle unfold and just how scummy Apple has been in its handling of the situation there's no way I'll have another one (plus the iPhone4 has already been pretty much trounced by other manufacturers already)

    My boss got one.

Do whatever you like to, it will not drop even a single bar.

    Dunno.
