Hence the reason they blamed it on software calibration.

Error exists between Keyboard & Chair replace User and press Any Key!
.... Where's the Any Key???
But, but, but, they just work![]()
So the case just costs $1 while Apple charges its customers $29. Wow...I guess it's an original Apple bumper case![]()
I love this whole story...
...it just works!
Do Apple even have a fix for the problem yet? Apart from just lying to me and saying the software is wrong..
A Story...
Yes there is many chapters, from when this issue was first found to apple putting hits out on anybody who reports the issue.
As for a fix we could just blend them.
Has anyone else conducted a similar test to Anandtech's review (http://www.anandtech.com/show/3794/t...e-4-review/2)? In short, they find that yes, the signal drop is more significant on the iPhone 4 when holding the device, but also suggests that it is more tolerant to lower signal strength, and actually less likely to drop calls.
I'm not wrapping my shiny new iPhone in a crappy rubber case. They should be forced to fix this by the regulatory countries that normally sort this stuff.
If it was MS then they'd have to fix it and pay massive fines, so why not Apple?
Ultimately, all phones perform differently reception wise, so why should this one be singled out? You can always do what TheAnimus did, that is to take it back to the shop (it's still within the cooling period right?). Though I am still curious about Anand's finding. In some ways it is in line with Apple's stance (yet mentioned before Apple did), it does well to explain common observations (and the Consumer Report), and I've not seen a similarly in depth rebuttal to it.
